Crostini with Artichoke Pesto and Whipped Ricotta

These crostini are bursting with flavors of creamy artichoke pesto and light whipped ricotta, making them a perfect appetizer or snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette, sliced into thin rounds

  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 190C 375F


Spoon out slices of baguette on a baking sheet


Toast them in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes, or until they are lightly golden


Put artichoke hearts, basil, pine nuts, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil in a food processor and blend them together


Pulse until it's smooth


Ricotta cheese should be whipped until it is light and fluffy in a different bowl


Add pepper and salt to taste


Put some artichoke pesto on top of each toasted baguette slice


Add some whipped ricotta cheese on top


If you want, you can add more basil leaves and pine nuts as a garnish


Serve right away and enjoy!

Walnut, Feta, and Beet Burger

Ein etwas anderer Salat - mit Walnuss, Feta und roter Bete. So lecker!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked red beets, grated

  • 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped

  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 burger buns

  • Lettuce leaves

  • Sliced tomatoes

  • Sliced red onion

  • Mayonnaise for dressing

Instructions:

Grate the red beets and mix them with the chopped walnuts, crumbled feta cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, finely chopped red onion, egg, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl


Make sure to mix the ingredients well until they are all well mixed


Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty


Set a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil it so that food doesn't stick


Make burger patties with beets, walnuts, and feta


Grill them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are hot all the way through and have grill marks


Toast the burger buns on the grill until they are golden and a little crispy while the patties are cooking


First, put a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun


Then, put a walnut, feta, and beet patty on top of it


Add red onion and tomato slices on top


Put some mayonnaise on top, and then put the top bun on top


Your Walnut, Feta, and Beet Burgers are delicious


You can serve them with a side salad or your favorite toppings

Turkey Bacon Chicken Ranch Grilled Cheese

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring tender shredded chicken, crispy turkey bacon, creamy ranch dressing, and melted cheddar cheese, all sandwiched between slices of golden grilled bread.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread

  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded

  • 4 slices of turkey bacon

  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Butter for grilling

Instructions:

Cook turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside


Spread ranch dressing on one side of each bread slice


On two bread slices, layer shredded chicken, turkey bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese


Top with the remaining bread slices, ranch dressing side down


Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich


Heat a skillet over medium heat


Place sandwiches in the skillet and grill until golden brown on both sides, and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side


Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then slice and serve

Experience the magic of Harry Potter with this delicious Butterbeer Latte. It's a warm and comforting coffee drink with the sweet, buttery flavor of butterscotch and a touch of vanilla. Perfect for sipping while reading your favorite wizarding tales.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of brewed coffee

  • 2 tablespoons of butterscotch syrup

  • 1/4 cup of whole milk

  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream

  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • Whipped cream for topping

  • Caramel sauce for drizzling

  • Gold sprinkles for garnish

Instructions:

Brew a strong cup of coffee and pour it into your Harry Potter-inspired coffee mug

Ingredients:

  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and cubed

  • 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tablespoons tahini

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Water as needed for desired consistency

  • Fresh parsley and olive oil for garnish

Instructions:

To make the sweet potato cubes soft, steam or boil them


Remove from the heat and let them cool for a while


The cooked sweet potato, chickpeas, garlic that has been minced, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, ground cumin, salt, and pepper should all be put into a food processor


Add water as needed to get the hummus consistency you want


Process the mixture until it is smooth


If you want, you can add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice after tasting to make it taste better


Add a little olive oil to a serving dish and move the sweet potato hummus to it


Add fresh parsley as a garnish


You can eat it with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or any other dips you like

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups spelt flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper


In a small bowl, whisk together spelt flour, baking soda, and salt


In a separate mixing bowl, cream together vegan butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy


Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined


Fold in vegan chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough


Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie

French Strawberry Tart

The buttery crust, fresh strawberries, and shiny glaze on this French-style strawberry tart make it a real treat. This dessert is great for any event, whether you're having a dinner party or just want something sweet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of pre-made pie dough

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 190C 375F


Press the pie dough against the bottom and sides of the tart pan


Cut off any extra dough


Use a fork to poke holes in the bottom of the dough so that it doesn't rise while it's baking


It should be baked for 12 to 15 minutes, or until it turns a light golden brown color


Let it cool down all the way


Place the strawberry slices in the tart crust that has been cooled


Put the strawberry jam, water, and cornstarch in a small saucepan and mix them together


Stir the mixture all the time over medium-low heat until it gets thick


Use a pastry brush to cover the strawberries in the tart crust with the strawberry glaze


Put the tart in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you serve it

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry

  • 3-4 ripe pears, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 190C 375F


Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper and roll it out into a rectangle


Place the sliced pears on top of the puff pastry, making sure to leave some space around the edges


Put the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and mix them together


Spread this out evenly over the pears


A crust will form when you fold the edges of the puff pastry over the pears


Use heavy cream to brush on the crust


Put it in an oven that has already been heated up and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the pears are soft


Take it out of the oven when it's done and let it cool down a bit


Before you serve, sprinkle with powdered sugar


Feel free to eat it hot or cold

Broas Castelares Portuguese Sweet Potato Cookies

  • 300g sweet potato, cooked and mashed

  • 200g cornmeal

  • 100g sugar

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 180C 350F

Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand
